SuperCare
SuperCare offers the ability for patients to be able to pay for essential dental treatments (dental and orthodontic) for you or your family members using your superannuation under the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Compassionate Release of Superannuation (ERS) program. Although you can apply directly to the ATO, SuperCare is a third-party service provider that supports and simplifies this application process.
It is important to note that SuperCare is not a superannuation fund nor a financial services company. SuperCare provides a type of funding assistance that allows patients to gain access to their superannuation fund early so they can pay for dental procedures and all out of pocket expenses associated with that procedure i.e. private hospital fees, travel and accommodation. SuperCare can help you receive approval and access to your super within 2-3 weeks.
